UPDATE 6-02 What makes this project so unique? Two turbines 20Kws with 80ft. towers in line and installed 1/3 of a mile away on an overlooking hill away from new mansion construction. See following thumbnail photos. The first 8 show a 360 degree view of the perfect location for this wind project installation. That's Disco Dan riding the diesel ditch witch. Then the start of digging and what rock can do to a $65,000.00 piece of equipment. After change of equipment and slowly crawling out of rock, the digging progress down the hill towards electrical house of the new mansion. Then next photos show electrical conduit being installed to house the 500kcmil electrical wire, then the covering up of excavation and conduit by Disco Dan master diesel witch driver. UPDATE 6-17 master electrician kevin and his crew pull the thick 500kcmil threw electrical conduit and into custom built electrical pad housing backup generator and breaker boxes. good work kevin and crew, that sure is alot of wire.
UPDATE 6-25 wind turbines, towers and equipment are delivered and certified installer larry and his crew start building the towers in sections. small crane used to unload equipment from trucks. a few pictures of actual mad cows out here at MAD CANYON RANCH.
UPDATE 7-08 piers for towers are dug and concrete forms for transformer house are built, concrete is poured for tower footings and so is slab in transformer house. bottom of towers are stood up and concrete will be cured before final erection of these texas wind turbines.
UPDATE 7-11 again master electrician kevin and his crew hard at work installing the wind turbine electrical inverters and grid tie equipment into transformer house. again good work by kevin and his crew here in ft.worth texas on these texas turbines here in this 104 degree heat. at least on this awesome site there is always a breeze to cool these guys off and supply these ft.worth wind turbines with plenty of wind power. these texas windmills will be twisting by the end of the month

BEWARE of products being made in China and others overseas. Should you have a problem parts can take up to 3 months to obtain. Most of our products are made in the USA since 1985. Also if you're going to spend the money make sure you get the right size to do job correctly. Under sizing may save you money on your turbine but it won't knock a dent in your electric bill.
